The Goodman B1370126 Pressure Switch is a genuine OEM draft-proving control for the GMPV100-3 furnace and compatible Goodman/Amana models. Rated at -0.40" WC (water column) and normally open (NO), this switch verifies that the induced-draft blower is producing adequate negative pressure before the control board allows ignition — a key safety interlock that prevents firing without proper venting.
Furnace inducer runs but burners never light, ignition lockout, or a pressure-switch fault code. Note that a blocked flue, disconnected hose, or condensate blockage can also open the switch — inspect venting and tubing before replacing.
The OEM Goodman B1370126 matches the exact -0.40" WC set point and NO configuration your furnace requires; even small deviations in the set point cause nuisance faults. A generic equivalent can work if it matches the pressure rating and contact type precisely. For this safety interlock, OEM is the recommended choice.
Cut power, note wire and hose positions, remove one or two screws, and transfer the tubing and terminals to the new switch. Estimated time: 15–20 minutes. A DIY-friendly repair once venting issues are ruled out.
