It joins drain, inducer, or condensate components with a vibration-absorbing, leak-tight connection that maintains a proper seal across the furnace's heating and cooling thermal cycles.
Made from HVAC-grade EPDM-style rubber, the coupling resists the mildly acidic condensate produced by high-efficiency furnaces as well as heat exposure near the burner and inducer assembly, keeping the drainage and venting path sealed for reliable, code-compliant operation.
