The Goodman 10716003 Natural Gas Orifice is the genuine OEM brass burner spud for WGGE4330A070MAB gas package units and related Goodman/Amana furnaces. The orifice meters the precise volume of natural gas into each burner to produce a clean, correctly-sized flame. A cracked, corroded, or wrong-size orifice causes lazy yellow flames, sooting, poor heat output, or delayed ignition — replacing it restores a crisp blue flame and rated BTU input.
Orifice drill size is everything — it sets the gas input and, with it, combustion safety and efficiency. The OEM 10716003 is bored to the exact size Goodman certified for this furnace's manifold pressure and BTU rating. Generic or mis-drilled orifices can over- or under-fire the burner, producing carbon monoxide or nuisance shutdowns. For a combustion component, always match OEM.
Easy — about 10–15 minutes per orifice, but gas-line work. Shut off gas and power, remove the manifold or burner as needed, unscrew the old spud, and thread in the new one snug (do not over-torque brass). Leak-check the manifold before relighting. If you're not comfortable working on gas piping or verifying manifold pressure, have a licensed HVAC technician do it.
