Restore safe operation to your Goodman WFM18140S5DNCB furnace with the genuine OEM 10123529 manual reset limit switch. This normally-closed thermal safety device opens the control circuit if it senses excessive heat or a flame-rollout condition, shutting down the burners to prevent overheating and heat-exchanger damage. Because it is a manual reset switch, it will not automatically re-close after a fault — you press the reset button once the underlying cause has been corrected, giving you a clear indication that a safety event occurred.
Our OEM Goodman switch is calibrated to the exact factory trip temperature, ensuring the furnace's safety chain behaves as engineered. Generic aftermarket switches often carry looser temperature tolerances that can cause nuisance trips or, worse, fail to open at the correct threshold. For a safety-critical component, we recommend the OEM part.
Easy (2/5). Disconnect furnace power, remove the two mounting screws, transfer the two spade wires to the new switch, and reinstall. Typically a 10–15 minute repair with a nut driver. Always shut off gas and electrical power before servicing.
Compatibility note: verify your furnace model and existing part number before ordering. Contact info@nationalhvacparts.com with any fitment questions.
