The 10123529 is a genuine Goodman/Amana manual reset high-limit / rollout safety switch for the AMEH800805CXAA furnace. This safety control monitors temperature and opens the circuit to shut down the burners if it detects an overheat or flame rollout condition — protecting the heat exchanger and home. Because it is a manual reset device, it must be physically reset with the button after tripping, which alerts the homeowner or technician that an underlying issue occurred.
