The B1376853 is a genuine Goodman motor mount arm — the stamped-steel support bracket that anchors the condenser fan motor inside the top grille of the APH1448H41DA package heat pump. Typically used in a set of three or four arms radiating from the center, these brackets hold the motor concentric to the fan orifice so the blade spins true and the bearings aren't side-loaded. A bent, rusted, or missing arm lets the motor sag, which causes blade rub, vibration, and premature bearing failure.
Because mount arms set the exact height and centering of the fan motor, the OEM Goodman arm is the safe choice — the bolt spacing and length are matched to the factory motor band and top pan. A generic bracket may fit loosely or shift blade clearance, and at this price there's no reason not to use the factory part.
A basic hand-tool job. Disconnect power at the disconnect, remove the top grille/fan assembly, swap the arm one at a time to keep the motor centered, and torque the fasteners evenly. No refrigerant or electrical rewiring involved. Verify blade clearance before restoring power.
