The Goodman 20201901 Drain Hose Tube is a genuine OEM condensate line for the GMH950905DXAE 96% AFUE condensing gas furnace. High-efficiency furnaces produce acidic condensate during the heat-exchange process, and this factory-molded hose routes that moisture from the collector box and inducer assembly to the drain trap. A cracked, kinked, or brittle drain hose leads to water leaks, condensate backup, and pressure-switch faults.
This hose is molded to the exact length and bend radius required by the GMH950905DXAE cabinet, so it seats on the collector-box fittings without stress or leaks. Generic tubing cut to length can crimp at bends and degrade faster when exposed to acidic condensate. The OEM hose is designed to last the life of the furnace.
Replacement takes about 10–15 minutes. Power down the furnace, slide the old hose off its barbed fittings, and press the new hose fully onto each connection. Verify there are no low spots that could trap water, and confirm free drainage before returning the furnace to service.
