The Goodman 0130F00038 Auxiliary Limit Switch (light blue) is a genuine OEM safety control for the AMH80604BNAA gas furnace and compatible Goodman and Amana 80% AFUE models. This normally-closed thermal switch provides secondary overheat protection, opening the control circuit and shutting down the burners if abnormal temperatures are detected outside the primary limit's zone. The light-blue body denotes its specific trip set point — always match the color/rating when replacing.
OEM vs. Generic: Auxiliary limits are calibrated to a precise temperature, and the color coding exists specifically to prevent mismatches.
