The genuine OEM Goodman B1370154 Flame Rollout Switch is a critical safety control for the GSU060-3 gas furnace. This manual-reset switch is mounted near the burner assembly and trips at 350°F if flame rolls out of the burner box — a sign of a blocked flue, cracked heat exchanger, or venting problem. When it trips, it immediately shuts down the furnace to prevent fire and carbon-monoxide hazards. If your furnace locks out and the rollout switch won't reset, replace it and investigate the root cause.
Because this is a life-safety device, we strongly recommend the genuine OEM Goodman switch. It is calibrated to the precise 350°F set point and bracket geometry Goodman engineered for this burner box. Generic substitutes with the wrong trip point can either nuisance-trip or, worse, fail to shut the furnace down during a real rollout event.
Easy (★★☆☆☆). About 10–15 minutes with a nut driver — remove two spade wires and one or two mounting screws. Shut off power and gas first. A tripped rollout switch always warrants inspection of the flue and heat exchanger by a licensed technician.
