The Goodman B1370154 Flame Rollout Switch is a genuine OEM burner safety limit for GMPN080-4 gas furnaces. Mounted on the burner assembly, this manual-reset switch opens the gas valve circuit if flames roll out of the heat exchanger — a dangerous condition typically caused by a cracked heat exchanger, blocked flue, or restricted combustion air. It trips at 350°F to shut the furnace down and protect against fire and carbon-monoxide hazards.
As a life-safety device, the rollout switch must trip at exactly the right temperature. The genuine B1370154 carries Goodman's factory 350°F calibration and the correct bracket geometry for the GMPN080-4 burner box. Generic substitutes with imprecise setpoints or the wrong mounting can fail to protect the appliance or seat improperly. Always use the OEM part for this critical component.
Easy (1 of 3). Cut power and gas, unplug the two terminals, remove the mounting screw, and install the new switch in the same position — roughly 15 minutes. Important: if a rollout switch has tripped, diagnose and correct the root cause (heat exchanger, venting, or combustion air) before returning the furnace to service.
Restore your GMPN080-4 furnace's burner safety with the genuine Goodman B1370154 rollout switch.
