The Goodman B1370145 Flame Rollout Switch is a genuine OEM 300°F manual-reset limit switch for the GMV80703BXA 80% AFUE gas furnace. Mounted at the burner box, it's a critical safety device that cuts power to the gas valve if flames roll out of the combustion chamber — protecting against overheating and fire. A tripped or failed rollout switch stops the furnace from firing and must be replaced with the correct temperature-rated part.
The OEM Goodman switch is rated to trip at exactly 300°F, matching the furnace's engineered safety threshold. Because this is a life-safety component, a generic switch with a different trip point or slower response is a genuine hazard. Always use the OEM-spec part — never bypass a rollout switch.
Easy (1/5). Shut off power, note the wire positions, transfer the spade connectors, and mount the new switch in the original bracket. Important: if the switch tripped, find and correct the root cause (blocked flue, cracked heat exchanger, failing inducer) before returning the furnace to service. About 10–15 minutes.
