The Goodman B1370145 is a genuine OEM 300°F flame rollout limit switch for GMTH045-3 gas furnaces. This manual-reset safety device mounts on the burner assembly and opens the ignition circuit if flames roll out of the burner box — a critical protection against overheating caused by a blocked heat exchanger, failed inducer, or restricted venting. A tripped or failed rollout switch will prevent the furnace from firing until the underlying cause is corrected and the switch is reset or replaced.
Because this is a life-safety component, exact temperature calibration and mounting geometry matter. Genuine OEM guarantees the correct 300°F trip point and bracket fit. Generic switches with an incorrect setpoint can either nuisance-trip or, worse, fail to protect against a real rollout condition. Always use the OEM-spec part here.
Easy (2/5) — Disconnect power, note the wiring, remove the two mounting screws, transfer the terminals to the new switch, and remount. Important: a repeatedly tripping rollout switch signals a serious fault — have a licensed technician diagnose the root cause before returning the furnace to service.
