The Goodman B1370145 Flame Rollout Limit Switch is a genuine OEM safety control for the GMNT090-3B gas furnace. This manual-reset switch opens at 300°F to shut down the gas valve if flames roll out of the burner box — a critical protection against blocked heat exchangers, restricted venting, or dirty burners. A tripped rollout switch is often the first warning sign of a combustion or venting problem.
The OEM B1370145 is calibrated to Goodman's exact 300°F trip point and mounting footprint. Because this is a life-safety device, precise calibration matters — a generic switch with a loose tolerance can trip early (nuisance shutdowns) or, worse, trip late. Always match the OEM trip temperature. Note: if the switch has tripped, diagnose and correct the root cause (blocked flue, cracked heat exchanger, dirty burners) before returning the furnace to service.
Rated 1/5. With power and gas off, remove the two mounting screws, transfer the spade connectors, and mount the new switch. A 5–10 minute job for most homeowners. Never bypass or jumper a rollout switch.
