Genuine OEM Goodman B1370145 flame rollout limit switch, rated to open at 300°F, for the Goodman GDT115-5A gas furnace. This manual-reset safety monitors the burner area for flame rollout and shuts down the furnace if it detects dangerous heat outside the heat exchanger — a critical protection against fire and carbon-monoxide hazards. A tripped or failed rollout switch is a frequent cause of a furnace that ignites then shuts down.
A safety switch is the wrong place to save a few dollars. Generic switches can carry loose trip tolerances that nuisance-trip or, worse, fail to open at the rated temperature. This OEM B1370145 is calibrated to Goodman's exact 300°F set point for dependable protection. OEM strongly recommended for all combustion-safety components.
With power off, unplug the two spade terminals, unbolt the switch from the burner bracket, and mount the replacement in the same orientation. Simple wiring, but repeated rollout trips indicate an underlying problem (blocked flue, dirty burners, cracked heat exchanger) that a technician should diagnose before returning the unit to service.
Do not bypass a rollout switch. If it keeps tripping, find and fix the root cause.
