The Goodman B1370145 Flame Rollout Limit Switch is a genuine OEM manual-reset safety control rated to open at 300°F, used on Goodman AMS81405DNA gas furnaces and compatible models. Mounted on the burner box, it detects dangerous flame rollout caused by a blocked flue, cracked heat exchanger, or restricted combustion air, and cuts power to the gas valve to prevent overheating and fire.
This genuine Goodman OEM switch is calibrated to the exact 300°F trip point and bracket geometry the furnace was engineered around. A generic switch with a different setpoint or mounting can nuisance-trip or, worse, fail to protect. For a life-safety component, always use OEM. If a rollout switch has tripped, diagnose and correct the root cause before resetting.
Easy–Moderate (2/5). Shut off gas and power, note wire positions, unscrew the old switch from the burner bracket, mount the new one, and reconnect the leads. About 15 minutes. Investigate why it tripped before returning the furnace to service.
