The Goodman B1370145 is a genuine 300°F flame rollout limit switch for AMS80904BXA furnaces and compatible Goodman/Amana models. Mounted on the burner box, this manual-reset safety switch opens the ignition circuit if flame rolls out of the heat exchanger — protecting the cabinet, wiring, and occupants from a dangerous combustion fault. A tripped or failed rollout switch will shut the furnace down and must be replaced with an exact-rated part.
This is a safety-critical component — the genuine Goodman switch is calibrated to trip at the exact 300°F setpoint your furnace's design requires. A mis-rated generic switch may nuisance-trip or, worse, fail to open during a real rollout event. Never substitute a different temperature rating. OEM is strongly recommended.
Easy (2/5). Shut off power, note the wire positions, unscrew the switch from the burner box, and mount the replacement with the same orientation. If the switch tripped, always diagnose the root cause (blocked flue, cracked heat exchanger, failing inducer) before returning the furnace to service.
