The Goodman B1370145 is a factory-original 300°F flame rollout limit switch for the AMH81405DNAA gas furnace. This manual-reset safety device detects flame rollout — flames escaping the burner box due to a blocked heat exchanger, poor venting, or restricted combustion air — and shuts down the furnace to prevent overheating and unsafe operation. A tripped or failed rollout switch is a frequent cause of no-heat lockouts and should always be replaced with a correctly rated OEM part.
The genuine B1370145 is calibrated to the exact 300°F trip point and terminal/mount configuration your furnace was designed around. Because this is a safety limit, a generic switch with a different set point or slower response can allow unsafe conditions or cause nuisance trips. Always match OEM for safety components.
Easy to Moderate. Disconnect power, unplug the two spade terminals, unscrew the switch, and mount the new one in the same orientation. Important: never bypass a rollout switch — if it keeps tripping, have the heat exchanger and venting inspected by a licensed technician.
