The Goodman B1370145 is a genuine 300°F flame rollout limit switch for the AMH80704BNAB gas furnace and other compatible Goodman and Amana models. This manual-reset safety device is mounted near the burner assembly and instantly cuts power to the gas valve if flame rolls out of the heat exchanger, protecting the furnace and home from overheating. A tripped or failed rollout switch will prevent the furnace from firing until it is reset or replaced.
As a life-safety component, the OEM B1370145 is calibrated to the exact 300°F trip point specified for this furnace. Generic switches with mismatched trip ratings can nuisance-trip or, worse, fail to open when needed. For a safety device, always use the factory-rated part.
Easy (2/5). Disconnect power, unplug the two spade terminals, remove the mounting screws, install the new switch, and reconnect. Roughly 10 minutes with a screwdriver. If the switch tripped, investigate the underlying cause (blocked venting or a cracked heat exchanger) before returning the furnace to service.
