The Goodman B1370145 is a genuine 300°F flame-rollout limit switch for the AMH80703ANAB furnace and compatible Goodman/Amana models. This manual-reset safety mounts on the burner box and opens the ignition circuit if flames roll out of the burner area — a critical protection against overheating from a blocked heat exchanger, restricted venting, or a failing inducer. If your furnace locks out on a rollout fault or the switch is tripped and won't reset, replacing this inexpensive component restores safe operation.
OEM rollout switches are calibrated to the exact 300°F trip point and terminal geometry Goodman specified for this furnace's safety circuit. Generic switches with the wrong trip temperature can nuisance-trip or, worse, fail to protect. Because this is a life-safety device, always use the correct OEM-rated part.
Easy (2 of 5). Cut power, note the two spade-terminal wires, unscrew the switch from the burner bracket, mount the new switch in the same orientation, and reconnect the leads. About 15 minutes. Important: if the switch tripped, find and correct the root cause (blocked exchanger, venting, or airflow) before returning the furnace to service — a repeat rollout is a warning, not a nuisance.
