The Goodman B1370145 Rollout Limit Switch is a genuine OEM 300°F flame-rollout safety control for the ADV80703BXA gas furnace and other compatible Goodman and Amana models. Mounted near the burner assembly, this normally-closed switch instantly opens the control circuit and shuts off the gas valve if flames roll out of the burner box — a condition usually caused by a blocked flue, cracked heat exchanger, or failed inducer. It is one of the furnace's most important life-safety devices.
This switch trips at 300°F and is matched to the furnace's factory design. Using the correct trip temperature is critical: a mismatched switch can nuisance-trip or, worse, fail to protect against a genuine rollout event.
Because this is a safety-critical control, the exact 300°F trip point and terminal style matter. Generic switches with a different setpoint can compromise burner-box protection or cause repeated lockouts. The OEM B1370145 guarantees the correct temperature rating and a plug-and-play electrical connection.
Easy to moderate. With power off at the disconnect, remove the two spade connectors, unscrew the switch from its bracket, and install the replacement. Do not bypass a repeatedly tripping switch — diagnose the underlying cause (flue, heat exchanger, inducer). Professional diagnosis is recommended if the switch keeps opening.
