Protect your Goodman ADS80703ANA furnace and home with the genuine Goodman B1370145 flame rollout switch, factory-rated to trip at 300°F. Mounted near the burner box, this manual-reset safety device opens the gas-valve/ignition circuit if flames roll out of the burners — a critical protection against blocked heat exchangers, poor venting, or restricted combustion air. A tripped or failed rollout switch will shut the furnace down until the cause is corrected and the switch is reset or replaced.
Because this is a safety component, the exact trip point and mounting matter. The OEM Goodman B1370145 is calibrated to the furnace's 300°F design spec with the correct bracket and terminal layout. Generic switches with the wrong rating can nuisance-trip or, worse, fail to trip when needed. Always match the OEM temperature rating.
Easy (DIY-friendly). Roughly 10–15 minutes with a nut driver. Shut off power and gas first. Remove the two mounting screws, transfer the spade connectors, and secure the new switch. Important: if the original switch tripped, diagnose and fix the underlying cause (venting, heat exchanger, airflow) before returning the furnace to service — never bypass a rollout switch. When in doubt, call a licensed HVAC technician.
