The B1370108 is a genuine OEM 300°F manual-reset flame rollout switch for the Goodman GUI100-3 furnace. This is a safety-critical limit control mounted near the burner box: if flames roll out of the burners — usually from a blocked heat exchanger, cracked flue, or restricted venting — the switch opens at 300°F and shuts down the gas valve to prevent fire and overheating. A tripped or failed rollout switch is a common cause of a furnace that ignites briefly then locks out.
Because this is a safety device, the exact OEM trip temperature and terminal configuration matter. The genuine B1370108 is calibrated to open at precisely 300°F. Generic switches with a different setpoint can either nuisance-trip or, worse, fail to trip when needed. For any flame-safety component, always use OEM.
Shut off power and gas, unplug the two spade terminals, remove the mounting screws, install the new switch, and reconnect. A quick swap with basic tools — but if a rollout switch tripped, diagnose the underlying cause (heat exchanger, venting) before returning the furnace to service.
Fits Goodman GUI100-3. Never bypass a rollout switch.
