The B1370108 Flame Rollout Switch is a genuine OEM Goodman safety limit rated at 300°F for the GUE100-5 gas furnace and compatible Goodman/Amana models. Mounted near the burner assembly, this manual-reset switch opens the control circuit and shuts down the furnace if flames roll out of the burner box — a critical protection against a cracked heat exchanger, blocked flue, or restricted combustion airflow. A tripped or failed rollout switch will prevent the furnace from firing until the fault is corrected and the switch is reset or replaced.
As a burner-area safety device, exact trip calibration is non-negotiable. Generic switches with loose temperature tolerances can nuisance-trip or fail to open when they should. This OEM Goodman switch is set to the factory 300°F threshold so rollout protection responds precisely as engineered.
Difficulty: Easy. Power down the furnace, remove the two spade terminals, unbolt the switch from the burner bracket, and install the replacement. Usually a 10–15 minute job. Important: repeated rollout trips signal a serious combustion problem — have the heat exchanger and venting inspected before returning the unit to service.
An inexpensive genuine OEM safety part for the GUE100-5.
