The Goodman 20201902 23-Inch Drain Hose Tube is a genuine OEM condensate line cut to the factory 23" length for the Goodman GDS90805D2AA gas furnace and compatible high-efficiency models. This longer run carries condensate from the furnace to a floor drain, condensate pump, or trap when the drain is positioned farther from the unit. Because it arrives at the exact factory length, there is no guessing on cut lines or slope — a proper downhill pitch is maintained to keep water moving and prevent pooling.
The genuine Goodman OEM 23" tube matches the original inside/outside diameters and material rating, so it seals at both ends without adapters. Generic tubing sold by the foot can sag, collapse under heat, or fit loosely at the collector box, leading to slow leaks that damage the furnace and surrounding floor. The OEM part removes that risk.
