The Goodman 20201902 23-Inch Drain Hose Tube is a genuine OEM condensate line cut and molded to the exact length required by AMH950905DXAB 95% AFUE furnaces. In condensing furnaces, correct drain length and slope are critical — too long and it sags, too short and it strains the fittings. This 23" factory tube is dimensioned to route condensate cleanly from the collector box to the drain trap without pooling.
You can approximate this with bulk tubing, but you lose the correct pre-set length and end fittings. The OEM 20201902 removes the guesswork, seats securely on the factory ports, and helps prevent the drain-related lockouts common with mismatched aftermarket hose.
Difficulty: Very Easy (DIY-friendly, under 10 min). Turn off power, loosen the clamps, remove the old 23" tube, and install the OEM replacement in the same path. Re-clamp, then test with water to confirm a leak-free, free-draining connection.
