The Goodman B1370113 is a genuine OEM 120°F auxiliary limit switch for the Goodman GDS80703AXA gas furnace. Typically mounted on the blower deck or near the return-air side, this auto-reset safety control opens the heating circuit if temperatures at its location climb past the 120°F setpoint — protecting against overheating from restricted airflow, a dirty filter, blocked returns, or blower failure. When this switch trips, the furnace shuts off the burners and calls for corrective airflow.
This factory Goodman switch uses the precise 120°F calibration, terminal style, and mounting footprint designed for your furnace cabinet. Installing a generic limit with a different trip point can either mask a real airflow problem or cause repeated nuisance shutdowns. For a temperature-critical safety device, the OEM part is the dependable choice.
Easy (2/5). Turn off power, pull the two spade connectors, remove the mounting screws, seat the new switch in the same position and orientation, and reconnect the wiring. Basic hand tools only. If the switch had been tripping, correct the underlying airflow restriction — replace the filter and clear returns — before restoring the furnace to normal operation.
