The Goodman A1781105 1-piece vinyl cap is a genuine OEM component for the AMSS960402BNAA high-efficiency furnace and compatible Goodman/Amana models. These molded vinyl caps seal unused knockouts, drain ports, and tubing stubs on the furnace cabinet and inducer assembly, keeping the pressure and condensate circuits sealed and preventing air leaks or debris intrusion. Though small, a missing or degraded cap can create a pressure-switch fault or allow conditioned air and combustion by-products to escape.
