Overview

It steps the incoming 120V line voltage down to the 24V the control circuit needs to operate the gas valve, ignition control, relays, and thermostat. The assembly covers OEM part numbers 92840 (24V SPDT relay) and 97298 (40VA transformer relay receptacle, 120V to 24V). A 40VA rating provides ample current for the furnace control board and accessory loads.
