Overview
This OEM control transformer steps line voltage down to the 24V control signal that powers your ICP system's thermostat, contactor coil, gas valve, and safety circuits. It accepts a 208/230V primary input and delivers a 24V, 40VA secondary output — enough capacity to drive the full low-voltage control train on the WPG4484115RKA1. The kit also includes the OEM 24V barrier (PN 1178431), which isolates and protects the secondary terminals. Installation Guide
- Safety First — Disconnect power at the unit disconnect and verify zero voltage with a multimeter before touching any wiring.
- Access — Remove the control-panel service panel to expose the transformer and low-voltage terminal board.
- Document — Photograph every primary and secondary wire connection before disconnecting anything.
- Remove — Label and disconnect the primary (line) and secondary (24V) leads, then unbolt the failed transformer from the panel.
- Install — Mount the new transformer, install the 24V barrier, and reconnect each lead exactly per your photo. Match primary taps to your incoming voltage.
- Test — Restore power and confirm 24V across the secondary terminals and normal thermostat operation.
