It powers the thermostat, contactor coil, gas valve, and ignition control. When a transformer fails, the entire 24V control system goes dead — the system will not start, the thermostat display may go blank, and you will read 0V across the transformer secondary. Kit includes OEM transformer (1173691) and the 24V wiring barrier (1178431). Rated 40VA with a 208/230V primary and a 24V secondary.

Installation Guide
