Overview

This OEM ICP control transformer (part #1172028) steps down 208/230V line voltage to the 24V control voltage required by your system's thermostat, relays, and safety circuits. It is rated at 40VA, providing adequate capacity for the contactors, control board, and low-voltage accessories on the WAXL364A3. When a transformer fails, the entire low-voltage control circuit goes dead: the thermostat screen goes blank, the system won't start, and contactors won't pull in.
