Overview

This OEM control transformer (part #1172028) converts 208/230V line voltage down to 24V to drive the low-voltage control circuit on your ICP WAPL484A2 system. At 40VA, it powers the contactor coil, control board, and thermostat. A failed transformer kills the entire 24V circuit: the system stops responding to the thermostat, the contactor never energizes, and the unit looks dead despite having incoming line power. Failures are frequently signaled by a burnt odor or a charred transformer body.

Installation Guide
