Overview

This control transformer supplies the low-voltage 24V power that runs the contactor coil, control board, and reversing-valve circuit on your ICP RHS102L0AB0AAAA heat pump. It steps line voltage (208/240V) down to a stable 24V at 40VA. When a transformer fails, the entire low-voltage control circuit goes dead — the unit will not energize the contactor, the thermostat screen may go blank, and the compressor and fan never start even though line power is present.
