This genuine OEM ignitor electrode (part 1179966) provides the ignition spark for the ICP / Heil / Tempstar RGS210HREA0AAAA gas furnace. Mounted at the burner, the electrode delivers the high-voltage spark that lights the gas during each heating cycle, and on many ignition systems the same electrode also serves as the flame-sensing rod that proves the burner has lit.
