Overview
This OEM ignition kit includes the genuine hot surface igniter (part 1171306) and matching igniter wiring harness kit (part 1188370) for the ICP / Tempstar / Heil RGS090SFAA0AGAA gas furnace. On a call for heat, the control board sends line voltage to the igniter, which glows white-hot to light the burners. The included wiring kit provides the correct OEM connector and leads so the new igniter mates cleanly to the furnace harness.
Hot surface igniters are brittle and degrade with every cycle.
