Overview

This kit includes the genuine OEM hot surface igniter (P/N 1171306) and its matching igniter wiring kit (P/N 1188370) for the ICP / Tempstar / Heil RGS120HRAA0AGAA gas furnace. The hot surface igniter glows red-hot on a call for heat to ignite the gas at the burners. Igniters are brittle and degrade over thousands of cycles; the included wiring harness ensures a clean, properly terminated connection. A cracked or open igniter is the most common cause of no-heat calls where the inducer runs but the burners never light.
