Overview

This is a genuine OEM hot surface igniter assembly for the ICP/Tempstar/Heil RGS102HRAA0AAA gas furnace. The igniter (OEM part 1171306) is the silicon-carbide or silicon-nitride element that glows red-hot to ignite the gas at the burners on each heating call. This kit also includes the matching igniter wiring kit (OEM part 1188370) so you can replace the harness and connector that commonly fail or corrode alongside the element. A failed igniter is the single most common cause of "no heat" — when the element cracks, ages, or develops hairline fractures, the furnace locks out and will not light.
