This OEM hot surface igniter (HSI) assembly is the ignition source for the ICP Tempstar Heil WFMR090C048B3 gas furnace. When the thermostat calls for heat, the control board energizes the igniter; its silicon-carbide element glows to roughly 2,500°F and lights the burner gas. This kit covers OEM part 1176919 (igniter), 1183455 (igniter bracket), and 1176929 (HSI snap valve hardware, ref 36J24618).
