Overview

This OEM hot surface igniter (HSI) is the ignition component for the ICP Tempstar/Heil RGS121LDBB0AAAA gas furnace. On a call for heat, the furnace control board energizes the igniter, which heats to roughly 1,800–2,500°F and lights the burner gas. The kit pairs OEM igniter 1171306 with igniter wiring kit 1188370 so the element and its harness are replaced together for a clean, reliable connection. A failed igniter is one of the most common causes of "no heat" — the inducer runs, but the burners never light.
