Overview

This is a genuine OEM gas valve support bracket (ICP part number 1178238) for ICP / Tempstar / Heil gas furnaces. Note: this is the mounting bracket only — it does not include the gas valve itself. The bracket secures the gas valve to the furnace burner assembly, holding it in correct alignment with the manifold and burners and preventing stress on the gas piping from vibration. It is commonly needed when the original bracket is corroded, cracked, or was damaged during a previous gas valve replacement.
