This OEM gas valve support bracket (P/N 1178238) fits the ICP / Tempstar / Heil RGS101LRBA0AAAA gas furnace. The bracket rigidly anchors the gas valve to the burner assembly, holding it in correct alignment with the manifold and gas line so connections stay leak-free and the valve does not sag or vibrate under operation. A bent, corroded, or missing bracket lets the gas valve move, which stresses the manifold threads and pilot/igniter alignment and can lead to flame or ignition faults.

Installation Guide
