Overview

This is the genuine OEM gas valve support bracket (part 1178219) for the ICP / Tempstar / Heil RGS091HDCA0AAA gas furnace. The bracket rigidly anchors the gas valve to the burner manifold assembly, preventing movement and stress on the gas piping and electrical connections. A secure valve mount is critical for safe operation: a loose or corroded bracket allows the valve to shift, which can stress the inlet/outlet unions, strain wiring, and create vibration noise during ignition and shutdown. Replacing a damaged or missing bracket restores proper valve alignment and protects the gas train. Note this is the mounting bracket only — it does not include the gas valve itself.
