Overview

This is a genuine OEM ICP ECM X-13 motor control module (part number 1185284), a 1/2 HP constant-torque blower motor used in the WAHT424A1 air handler. The X-13 ECM provides quiet, efficient, multi-tap airflow while consuming significantly less electricity than an older PSC motor. Symptoms of a failing X-13 include a blower that will not start, intermittent operation, loud humming or buzzing at startup, and weak or uneven airflow. Installation Guide

4. Remove — Unplug the control harness, release the blower-housing bolts, slide out the assembly, and transfer the blower wheel and mounting band to the new motor.
5. Install — Mount the new X-13 motor, reseat the blower wheel, reinstall the housing, and reconnect line voltage and the control plug per your photos.
6. Test — Restore power, call for fan/heat/cool, and verify smooth ramp-up and proper airflow.
