Overview

This OEM ECM X-13 motor control module (part number 1185288) is the 1/2 HP variable-speed blower motor controller for the ICP WAXL424A3. The X-13 is a constant-torque ECM that holds a programmed airflow level across changing duct static, delivering quieter, more efficient blower operation than a traditional PSC motor. The control module is the electronic brain bolted to the motor end bell; it receives 24V tap signals from the control board and drives the motor windings. When the module fails, the blower may not start, run only on certain taps, surge, or trip on internal fault — even though the motor itself is mechanically sound.
