Overview

This OEM ECM X-13 motor control module (part 1185844) is the electronic control for the 1/2 HP variable-speed blower motor in the ICP / Tempstar / Heil WJA336000KTP0B1. The X-13 is a constant-torque ECM design — the control module receives 24V tap selections from the furnace board and drives the motor at the programmed torque for each heating, cooling, and fan stage. It delivers quieter operation and better efficiency than a standard PSC motor. When the control module fails, the blower may not start, run only at one speed, ramp erratically, or trip on internal faults, leaving the system with poor airflow or no airflow at all.
