Overview
The contactor is the high-voltage switch that powers your ICP RHS183H0CA0AAAA heat pump. When the thermostat calls, the 24V coil energizes and the contactor closes its line-voltage contacts to send power to the compressor and condenser fan motor. This OEM set includes the 2-pole 30-amp contactor (part 1171554) and the 3-pole 40-amp contactor (part 1172449), both with 24V coils. Contactors are among the highest-wear parts in any condensing unit — every cooling and heating cycle pits and burns the contact points. Installation Guide

- Access — Remove the outdoor unit's electrical service panel.

- Remove — Move each wire one at a time to the new contactor, or label them, then unscrew the old contactor from its bracket.
- Install — Mount the new contactor, transfer line/load conductors to matching terminals, and reconnect the 24V coil leads.
- Test — Restore power and confirm the contactor pulls in and the compressor and fan start on a thermostat call.
