Installation Guide
- Safety First — Disconnect power at the outdoor disconnect and breaker. Verify zero voltage with a multimeter, and discharge the run capacitor before handling any leads.
- Access — Remove the top fan grille/panel and lift the fan assembly out of the cabinet.
- Document — Photograph the motor wiring, capacitor connections, and the fan blade depth and orientation on the shaft.
- Remove — Loosen the blade set screw, pull the blade, unbolt the old motor from its bracket, and disconnect the leads.
- Install — Bolt the new motor in place, transfer the blade to the same depth and orientation, and reconnect the leads and capacitor per your photo.
- Test — Restore power and call for cooling. Verify the fan spins up to full speed in the correct direction (drawing air up through the top).
