Overview

This OEM 2-pole definite purpose contactor (PN 1178074) is the line-voltage switch that powers the compressor and condenser fan motor in your ICP Tempstar Heil RHS120S0CB0AAA heat pump. A 24V signal from the control board energizes the coil, pulling the contacts closed to feed the compressor. Rated 30A with a 24-volt coil, this contactor is a normal wear item — every cooling cycle arcs the contacts a little, and over time they pit, burn, or weld together.
