Overview

This is a genuine OEM 2-pole, 30-amp contactor with a 24V coil (Part No. 1171554) for the ICP / Tempstar / Heil RGS303SEAA0AAAA system. The contactor is an electrically operated switch: when the 24V control circuit energizes the coil, the contacts close and pass line voltage to the compressor and/or condenser fan motor. Over time the contact points pit, burn, or weld from the inrush current of repeated starts.
