Refund & Return Policy

At National HVAC Parts, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order, we're here to help.
30-Day Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return most items for a full refund or exchange.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- Unused and in original condition
- In original packaging with all tags and labels
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:

Electrical components that have been installed (capacitors, control boards, contactors) - for safety reasons
- Custom-ordered or special-order parts
- Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable"
- Parts that have been modified or damaged after delivery
How to Initiate a Return
- Contact us at returns@nationalhvacparts.com or call 1-800-NHP-HVAC
- Provide your order number and reason for return
- We'll email you a prepaid return shipping label (for defective items) or return instructions
- Pack the item securely in original packaging
- Drop off at any UPS or FedEx location
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days
- Credit will be applied to your original payment method
- You'll receive an email confirmation when your refund is processed
Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive a defective or damaged item:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Include photos of the damage or defect
- We'll send a replacement immediately at no cost
- Prepaid return label provided for defective items
Wrong Item Received
If we shipped the wrong part, contact us immediately. We'll send the correct item right away and provide a prepaid label to return the incorrect item.
Exchanges
Need a different part? Contact us to arrange an exchange. We'll help you find the right replacement and process the swap quickly.
Restocking Fees
We do not charge restocking fees on standard returns. However, items returned without original packaging or in used condition may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
